Amboy — The 25th-annual Community Celebration Honoring Veterans was Nov. 10 at the Mountain Valley Grange Hall in Amboy. The yearly celebration, co-hosted by the Mountain Valley Grangers and the North Clark Historical Museum, honors local veterans and their families for service. This year, 20 veterans were lauded. In addition, 14 students from regional schools won awards in an art and essay contest with the theme Early Day Businesses in Our Community. Two quilts were raffled, and a pie auction ended the evening.
