A woman was injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision on Northeast 159th Street in Hockinson.

At 3:34 p.m. a car and pickup collided near the intersection of Northeast 159th Street and Northeast 172nd Avenue, said Assistant Fire Chief Donovan Mattern with Fire District 3.

“It was at least a partial head-on collision,” he said.

One driver was taken to a local hospital by ambulance with injuries that were not life-threatening. The other refused medical treatment.

Traffic was blocked for 45 minutes while emergency crews worked at the scene.
