A woman was injured Tuesday night in the Five Corners area when a van collided with the Honda Accord she was riding in.

At 7:54 p.m., a Ford van collided with the passenger side of the Honda at the intersection of Northeast 94th Avenue and 63rd Street, according to Firefighter-paramedic Kevin Stromberg with the Vancouver Fire Department.

Emergency crews extricated the woman through the driver-side door. She was taken to a local hospital. Traffic was blocked at the intersection while crews worked.

Names of those involved were not available.
