Bonsai — Strange and Unique: 11 a.m. Oct. 20. Bonsai experts will be on hand to show interesting and unique bonsai, including indoor bonsai, and what to do to make them thrive.

Topiary Workshop: 11 a.m. Oct. 27. Bring your garden gloves and learn how to create and maintain spiral topiary. $70, includes supplies. Registration required.

Green Gate Farm Tour: 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 6 at 3113 N.E. 166th Circle, Battle Ground. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss stable planning and design, learn about practices implemented on the farm that reduce mud, and manure composting and management strategies. Master Gardeners on the Road Tour: Sauvie Island Treasures, vans depart at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 11 from Enterprise Rent a Car, 9319 N.E. Highway 99 and returns at 5:30 p.m. Stops include: Sauvie Island Organics & Sauvie Island Center; Bella Organic Farm; Cistus Nursery; and Means Nursery, Scappoose. $30.
