PORTLAND (AP) — Police are looking for the car that hit a bicyclist Wednesday night in Portland, in the Parkrose Heights area.

The 48-year-old bike rider told police that the car turned into him and continued on its way. He was thrown over the hood and onto the ground. Police say he was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The car is described as a silver Subaru or Honda, possibly a 2004 or 2005 model, four-door hatchback, with a tail or spoiler on the rear.
