North Garrison Heights — Sometimes, neighborhood groups have a difficult time getting people to volunteer. Other times, new crops of leaders are ready to stand up and take charge. “We were greatly concerned that our association would go dormant due to lack of officers,” says the latest newsletter from the North Garrison Heights Neighborhood Association. But at its summer picnic, the group elected several new officers. They are Chairwoman Jan Maggs Co-chairman Ron Vito and Secretary and newsletter editor Bill Maggs. Treasurer Laurie Roberge returned for another yearlong term.
