The Ridgefield School District has submitted plans to expand its high school campus with two additional buildings, extra parking and improvements to the football stadium at Ridgefield High School, 2630 S. Hillhurst Road.

The project would accommodate a 100-student increase at the school, according to the school district.

Representatives from the school district are expected to discuss the project on Thursday with Ridgefield’s Community Development Department staff.

Ridgefield voters in February passed a $47 million bond package, money earmarked for capital improvements at three campuses, including the Union Ridge Elementary School/View Ridge Middle School campus and the South Ridge Elementary School campus.

A host of local companies — including LSW Architects, Columbia West, HDJ Design Group, Olson Engineering and Harper Houf Peterson Righellis Inc. — are involved with the projects
