GOSPEL CONCERT, 4 p.m. Oct. 14 at Woodland Presbyterian Church, 756 Park St., Woodland. Formed in 1968, the recently reunited Classic Gospel Sons will perform songs of praise using four-part harmony and a keyboard. A free-will offering will be received. Refreshments served.

GUITAR CONCERT, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20 at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 1220 N.E. 68th St. Doug Smith, a Grammy award-winning artist will perform with his wife, Judy Koch, and Don Mitchell. $15. SHEPHERD OF THE HILLS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 10:30 a.m. at 161 Lutheran Church Road, Stevenson. Celebrate the blessing of the animals to commemorate St. Francis of Assisi. Animals will receive a special blessing, have their picture taken and be given a treat.
