STORRS, Conn. (AP) — Connecticut’s Paul Pasqualoni will face an old protege Saturday when Steve Addazio and Temple visit Rentschler Field.

Addazio was hired by Pasqualoni to his first coaching job at Western Connecticut and also served under him at Syracuse.

But he will be trying to spoil homecoming week at UConn. The Owls (2-2) are looking to go 2-0 in the Big East after rejoining the conference this season, coming off a big home win over South Florida in their return-debut league game.

Connecticut (3-3, 0-1), meanwhile, opened conference play with a loss at Rutgers. The Huskies have not won or lost two consecutive games all season.

The Huskies are ranked sixth in the nation in total defense, but 110th out of 120 FBS teams in total offense.
