CLASSIC GOSPEL SONS will perform at 11 a.m. at Community of Christ Church, 4805 N.E. 15th Ave. There will be a free-will offering.

WEDNESDAY

FAMILY OF CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH, has begun Wednesday family-night programs for kindergarteners through adults featuring a children’s tone chime choir, confirmation classes, board games, an all-ages dinner and adult Bible study. Activities begin at 5 p.m. at the church, 3500 N.W. 12th St. Admission is $3 per person; no more than $12 per family.

FRIDAY

BEACOCK’S NEW HORIZONS JAZZ BAND will be in concert at 6:30 p.m. at Mill Plain United Methodist Church, 15804 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. Concert donations will benefit the Ruth Mathis scholarship fund. Refreshments available. 360-892-2421 or http://www.millplainumc.org.
