FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Kentucky’s game at Arkansas has entered its second lightning delay.
The game was suspended with 5:06 remaining in the third quarter with the Razorbacks ahead 49-7. Severe weather caused an hour and six-minute delay in the first half.
The Razorbacks (2-4, 1-2 Southeastern Conference) led 14-0 at the time of the first delay, which happened with 3:32 remaining in the first quarter after lightning struck near Razorback Stadium.
Fans scattered from the stands once the delay was announced, and the few who returned did the same after the second stoppage.
Arkansas took the early lead on a Tyler Wilson touchdown pass to Jonathan Williams, and Dennis Johnson later added a 3-yard touchdown run. Wilson had already exited the game at the time of the second delay, finishing 23 of 31 passing for 372 yards and a career-high five touchdowns.
The Razorbacks have outgained Kentucky (1-5, 0-3) 533-170 in total yardage.
