SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) — Deonte Williams did more than his fair share under the lights Saturday, scoring three touchdowns to keep Cal Poly perfect in the win-loss column this season with a 56-28 victory over visiting Northern Colorado.

Williams had 22 carries for 117 yards and three scores for Cal Poly (6-0, 4-0 Big Sky) which kept pace with Eastern Washington atop the Big Sky Conference with the win over the Bears.

Tied 14-14 after the first quarter of play, the Mustangs outscored Northern Colorado (1-5, 0-3) 28-0 in the second and third quarters to take a 42-14 lead it would not relinquish.

Cal Poly racked up 519 yards of total offense with quarterback Andre Broadous orchestrating the show, completing 9 of 12 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns.

Bears quarterback Seth Lobato was 27 of 37 for 278 yards and two touchdowns but was sacked three times by Sullivan Grosz.
