There are mixed concerns in regards to the upcoming national election. One party would have you believe its candidate is wonderful; the other has exposed the good and the bad in choice and deed. What we should be concerned about is what will they look like when the political dust is brushed away and they need to live up to the high expectations of office.
I submit the following for your consideration: If it sounds too good to be true, likely it is. Beware of Greeks bearing gifts. And from a Whitman University literary professor teaching on tragedies, the following paraphrased comment: Perfect precious stones (without flaw) are only manufactured or made by man; all precious stones in nature are flawed. People, like the stones, are not perfect, but are also flawed — be they of family or common man.
