ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) — Little Emily led all the way to win the $53,000 Modesto Purse by a half-length at Santa Anita on Friday.
Ridden by David Flores, Little Emily ran 1 1/8 miles on the turf in 1:47.33 and paid $13.40, $5.20 and $2.40.
I Dazzle returned $4.20 and $2.40, while Camelia Rose was another two lengths back in third and paid $2.10 to show as the 1-2 favorite.
The victory, worth $31,800, increased Little Emily’s career earnings to $113,120, with four wins in 12 starts.
