2A GSHL football: Mark Morris 48, Washougal 0

The Panthers’ Senior Night was soured as Austin Johnson rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns on four carries for Mark Morris. Austin Smith added 119 yards on seven carries, including a 37-yard score.

Washougal’s offense was never able to effectively get off the ground, completing 4 of 16 passes for 25 yards. The Panthers were led by Austin Toffel’s 39 rushing yards, but 34 of them came after Mark Morris had built a 41-0 halftime lead.

The Monarchs got touchdowns from six different players and led 48-0 after three quarters.
