Ball State rolls past Central Michigan 41-30

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (AP) — Keith Wenning threw three touchdown passes and ran for a score on Saturday, and Ball State defeated Central Michigan 41-30.

Wenning completed 23 of 30 passes for 231 yards.

Ball State (5-3, 2-2 Mid-American) also got big rushing efforts from Jahwan Edwards (128 yards) and Barrington Scott (99 yards, TD). Scott also caught a TD pass.

Ryan Radcliff completed 23 of 38 passes for 339 yards and 3 TDs for Central Michigan (2-5, 0-3). Zurlon Tipton rushed for 126 yards and a TD. Cody Wilson caught 7 passes for 111 yards and a TD.

Ball State controlled the clock for nearly 20 minutes in the second half.
