Letter: Hoping for a future with light rail

Living downtown, I enjoy walking around for exercise. As a strong supporter of light rail, I’m finding my walks less pleasant with all of the negative signs about C-Tran Proposition 1. I support everyone’s right to express their opinion but I just wish they wouldn’t yell at me. One sign per storefront would be enough, not three or four.

I’m 74 and I would like to be able to ride light rail directly from downtown Vancouver to downtown Portland some day before I die.
