PORTLAND (AP) — A Portland woman missing since Friday has been found dead in her car.

Investigators said Monday that 47-year-old Elizabeth Hoppes appears to have died of natural causes, but an autopsy will be performed.

Hoppes was reported missing after she dropped a child off at school but failed to show up for work.

Relatives were especially concerned because Hoppes was overdue for in-home dialysis and needed other medical treatment.

The Clackamas County sheriff’s office says the vehicle with the woman’s body inside was found at the Clackamas Town Center parking garage early today.
