The first of four free developmental screenings for children ages 3 to 5 will be offered Tuesday, Oct. 30, for children living within the boundaries of Battle Ground Public Schools. Other screenings will occur in 2013.

The screening will include skills in communication, concepts readiness, motor, social and behavioral, and self-help independence. A developmental screening is a valuable tool in the early identification of potential developmental delays. Screenings are conducted by a team of education professionals. Results are confidential and are shared with parents or guardians. Parents should call 360-885-5318 to schedule a screening.
