A man was arrested after a police pursuit of a suspected stolen Volkswagen Jetta ended at Northeast 112th Avenue and Northeast Burton Road Thursday afternoon.
At 3:30 p.m. the gray 2010 Volkswagen Jetta was southbound on Highway 503 near Northeast Fourth Plain Road, according to emergency radio traffic monitored by The Columbian.
An officer was able to stop him at Northeast 112th Avenue and Northeast Burton Road and pointed his pistol at the driver, who put his hands up. Both the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and the Vancouver Police Department responded to the scene.
The driver was arrested and taken to the county jail.
