Letter: Anderson understands role

The Columbian
Published: October 26, 2012, 5:00pm

We need inspired can-do leadership to get our economy going again. Clark County’s unemployment rate remains higher than both the statewide average and the rest of the Portland-metro area.

Julia Anderson, candidate for Clark Public Utilities Commission, has deep understanding of economic development and energy issues. Anderson asks constructive questions and gets clear answers. She’s a problem-solver and collaborative decision-maker.

Carol Curtis, who is retiring from this post after 30 years of service, is supporting Anderson for this nonpartisan position as are numerous community leaders who span the political spectrum.

Anderson has my vote for Clark Public Utilities commissioner.
