Letter: Boldt has worked hard for all of us

The Columbian
Published: October 26, 2012, 5:00pm

I am asking my fellow Democrats to vote for Republican Marc Boldt for Clark County Commissioner this year.

Boldt holds many typically Republican values and ideals, but he’s also a moderate. He has been censured by the local Republican party for his ability to see (and vote) both sides of the aisle. I’ve also seen him fight for social issues often championed by Democrats, including parks and public health.

Boldt has worked hard for all of us, regardless of our party affiliation, and I know he will continue to do so if re-elected.
