PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Rookie Dennis Kelly will take his first snap in the NFL in place of injured right guard Danny Watkins for the Philadelphia Eagles against Atlanta on Sunday.

Watkins, a first-round pick last year, is out with an ankle injury that coach Andy Reid labeled as “chronic.” Kelly, a fifth-round pick from Purdue, played tackle in college.

Linebacker Jamar Chaney and wide receiver Damaris Johnson are among Philadelphia’s healthy inactives. Chaney was a starter earlier in the season. Johnson began the season as the Eagles’ punt returner.

Wide receiver Harry Douglas is inactive for the Falcons because of ankle and knee injuries.
