As a Washington resident, I urge government officials to please get your religion out of our government; it is un-American. I care nothing about how or what you worship. That is your business and your constitutionally guaranteed right. It is only when you insert your religious beliefs by voting against the marriage equality act that I would ask you to instead move to a country that embraces theocracy. Think Saudi Arabia. Referendum 74 is about equal protection under the law, end of story. I encourage you to vote “yes” on Ref. 74 to promote and preserve the same constitutional protections for all Americans.
