MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Montana offensive tackle Trevor Poole was arrested on a felony drug charge over the weekend.
The university’s student-athlete code of conduct calls for the sophomore from Spokane, Wash., to be suspended indefinitely and if convicted of a felony, to be dismissed from the team.
Missoula County jail records show Poole was booked into jail early Sunday on suspicion of criminal possession of dangerous drugs. His bail is listed at $50,000 and he is scheduled to make an initial appearance in Justice Court on Monday afternoon.
Montana athletic director Kent Haslam told the Missoulian that Poole was arrested at a large party several hours after Montana’s 70-24 win over Idaho State.
