Two Vancouver women were injured when their car went off the roadway Monday afternoon in east Vancouver, according to a memo from the Washington State Patrol.

At 12:49 p.m., Amber Bartow, 26, was taking the ramp to state Highway 14 west from Interstate 205 south in her 1996 Honda Accord when she failed to negotiate the curve to the right and went off the roadway.

She and her passenger, April Bartow, 28, were treated at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and later released.

Amber Bartow was cited for suspicion of second-degree negligent driving, the memo said.
