MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Montana coach Mick Delaney has announced the suspension of three football players for violating team rules.

Delaney said Monday that linebackers Nick Holt and John Kanongata’a and center Kjelby Oiland are suspended for Saturday’s game against Weber State and will not be traveling with the team to Ogden, Utah.

Delaney declined to say why the players were suspended, but says it did not involve law enforcement.

Holt is a freshman from Seattle, Kanongata’a is a junior from Bellevue, Wash., and Oiland is a junior from Spokane, Wash., who played at UNLV as a freshman.
