Letter: Stop light rail now and forever

The Columbian
Published: October 29, 2012, 5:00pm

Here it comes folks — C-Tran’s Proposition 1. Your opportunity to save taxpayer money and keep light rail on the Oregon side of the bridge.

Don’t think for one minute that, after all the taxes and tolls have paid off that light rail extension, you’ll stop paying for it. Light rail, like the bus system, is a never-ending cash hole for taxpayers.

Stop light rail now and forever.
