ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills have signed five players to their practice squad, including receiver Marcus Easley.

Easley is back with the Bills after being cut by the team Friday. Selected by Buffalo in the fourth-round of the 2010 draft out of Connecticut, he missed his rookie season due to a knee injury, and last year because of a heart condition.

The Bills, who open their season at the New York Jets next weekend, are short on depth at the position after keeping only five receivers including Brad Smith, who doubles as a wildcat quarterback.

Also signed to the practice squad on Sunday were four other players cut by Buffalo two days earlier. They are receiver Kamar Aiken, defensive tackle Jarron Gilbert, defensive back Isaiah Green and center David Snow.
