CLEVELAND (AP) — Asdrubal Cabrera has been scratched from the Cleveland Indians’ lineup because of a sore right wrist.

The two-time All-Star shortstop was replaced by Jason Donald against the Texas Rangers on Saturday night.

Cabrera has hit just .103 (4 for 39) over his past 11 games. He was benched Monday and served as the designated hitter the next day. He was in the lineup at shortstop Wednesday, but got ejected in the first inning for arguing after being called out on strikes in his first at-bat.

Cabrera has hit .242 in the second half for the struggling Indians, losers of six in a row and 15 of 16. The switch-hitter is batting .270 with 14 homers and 53 RBIs in 121 games overall.
