ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) — The Oakland Raiders have brought back receiver Derek Hagan for a second stint with the team.
The Raiders announced Thursday that they signed Hagan.
He played six games for Oakland last season before being cut during the season. Hagan spent the rest of 2011 and this year’s training camp with Buffalo before being cut last week.
Hagan had 11 catches for 114 yards for Oakland last season.
Oakland is dealing with injuries at wide receiver with starter Denarius Moore missing the entire preseason with a hamstring injury and Jacoby Ford out for more than three weeks with a sprained left foot. Their status for Monday’s season opener against San Diego is in question.
The Raiders also announced that they waived defensive back Coye Francies.
