Call First romps in Monmouth Park feature

OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) — Call First moved quickly to the lead around the far turn and romped to a 4 1/2-length victory over favored Kid Sidney in the $32,000 allowance feature at Monmouth Park on Saturday.

Trained by Patricia Farro and ridden by Ryan Curatolo, Call First ran a mile and 70 yards in 1:42.29. The 4-year-old gelding paid $7, $2.80 and $2.40 in winning for the fourth time in 15 career starts.

Kid Sidney returned $2.60 and $2.40, and Nebikon paid $4 to show.
