MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) — Will Fiacchi threw for three touchdowns and ran for another to lead Albany past Robert Morris 35-10 to open conference play for both teams.

Fiacchi completed 17-of-21 passes for 208 yards — with Cole King on the receiving end of all of his TD tosses — to help the defending Northeastern Conference champion Great Danes (2-0) beat the Colonials for the first time on the road since 2008.

After a 49-yard field goal by Greg Langer put Robert Morris (0-2) on the board first, Fiacchi threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to King and Albany took its first lead.

On Albany’s next two possessions, Fiacchi scored on a 6-yard run and hit King again on a 9-yard touchdown to give the Great Danes a 21-3 halftime lead.

King caught five passes for 124 yards

Robert Morris scored its only touchdown on a 20-yard TD pass from Matt Layman to Donte Jeter.
