Letter: Pike has skills to represent us

The Columbian
Published: September 7, 2012, 5:00pm

We would like to thank and congratulate Liz Pike for stepping forward to represent her friends and neighbors as a candidate for state representative in the 18th District, Position 2. We are fortunate to have such a talented, articulate and intelligent woman to represent our interests in Olympia.

As a farmer, advertising executive, business owner, former city councilor and business advocate, Pike has the extensive skills, experience and background to be a great Washington state representative. As an education advocate, she has vowed to prioritize state spending and reform government.

These are challenging times and Pike has the values we appreciate in our district.
