COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — Missouri offensive tackle Elvis Fisher was carted off with an apparent right leg injury in the second quarter of the school’s SEC debut against No. 7 Georgia.

The senior was hurt in a pileup on a running play in Saturday night’s game and left the field with help from trainers favoring the leg. After time on the table behind the bench, he was carted off.

The school was awaiting word from medical personnel.

Fisher was granted a sixth year of eligibility after missing last season with surgery to repair the patellar tendon in his left knee. He started every game from 2008-10.
