90 DUI drivers nabbed in Clark County

Campaign results in 1,600 arrests statewide

The results are in for Clark County’s “Drive Hammered, Get Nailed” campaign targeting drunken drivers.

Ninety intoxicated drivers were arrested between Aug. 17 and Sept. 3 in Clark County, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Statewide, police arrested 1,603 drunken drivers over the same time period.

The added patrols, paid for by a grant from the Washington Traffic Safety Commission, were conducted by the sheriff’s office, Vancouver Police Department, Camas Police Department, Battle Ground Police Department and Washington State Patrol.
