Clark County Fire District 6 will host a five-week Community Emergency Response Team class starting this month.
The $30 CERT class will be Thursday nights from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at 8800 N.E. Hazel Dell Ave. starting Sept. 20.
CERT training covers disaster preparedness skills including basic search and rescue, fire safety and CPR.
Class size is limited. Applications are due Sept. 17.
