Letter: McKenna’s direction fosters jobs

The Columbian
Published: September 14, 2012, 5:00pm

While Washington state’s unemployment rate remains high, Clark County’s is higher. This is a key reason to elect Rob McKenna for governor.

McKenna has specific ideas to encourage job growth. He held roundtables around the state, including here in Vancouver, to listen to small-business owners explain what state government can do to help. McKenna understands that we need to lower the cost and regulations of doing business in our state.

As governor, McKenna plans that his “new direction” will foster the small businesses that will create so many of the jobs we need. McKenna is a Realtor-endorsed candidate. Vote for Rob McKenna for governor.

Linda Nurmi McClellan
