PITTSBURGH (AP) — Steelers linebacker James Harrison and safety Troy Polamalu are inactive for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.

Harrison is still recovering from minor surgery on his right knee last month. Polamalu strained his right calf in a loss to Denver last week and also did not practice. Chris Carter will start for Harrison, with Ryan Mundy playing for Polamalu.

Quarterback Charlie Batch, running back Rashard Mendenhall, nose tackle Alameda Ta’amu, guard Kelvin Beachum and linebacker Stevenson Sylvester are also inactive for Pittsburgh.

The Jets made cornerback Darrelle Revis inactive. Revis is recovering from a mild concussion sustained in a win over Buffalo. Kyle Wilson will start in Revis’ spot. Another starter, TE Dustin Keller, is out, as are quarterback Greg McElroy, linebacker Bryan Thomas, offensive linemen Dennis Landolt and Caleb Schlauderaff and defensive lineman Damon Harrison.
