IRVING, Texas (AP) — Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee is ready to move on from the flattening block he took from Seattle receiver Golden Tate, who has apparently been fined by the NFL.

In a radio interview with KJR-AM in Seattle on Wednesday, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Tate has been fined and intends to appeal. The Seahawks were off Wednesday as they prepared for a Monday night home game against Green Bay.

Lee said Wednesday that doesn’t blame Tate for blocking him and that it was just part of football. The linebacker says the only issue he had “a little bit” was how Tate celebrated, but acknowledged that’s part of football, too.

Lee still has a mark on his lower left chin from the play in Sunday’s 27-7 loss at Seattle.
