Letter: Too many conditions on consumer

The Columbian
Published: September 19, 2012, 5:00pm

OK, I have my shopping list prepared and it’s time to check the grocery ads.

Here’s an item from my list that’s on sale this week (with my savings card).

Here’s another item from my list on sale (with my savings card and a coupon).

Another item on sale (with my savings card and a minimum purchase).

And another (with my savings card but only on sale for one day).

And yet another (with my savings card and an online coupon).

Grocers have raised bargain hunting to a whole new level.

Never mind, I’ll find better prices elsewhere.
