PHOENIX (AP) — The Phoenix Mercury have signed All-Star forward Candice Dupree to a multi-year extension.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
A three-time WNBA All-Star, Dupree returned to the Mercury on Tuesday after missing 21 games with a left knee injury. Before the injury, she had started 151 straight games, the ninth-longest streak in WNBA history.
Dupree has averaged 15 points and 7.4 rebounds in just over two seasons with Phoenix. She has the two best rebounding seasons in franchise history and top three rebounding games. She also has the highest career shooting percentage in team history at 59.3 percent and fell just short of the WNBA record for a season by shooting 66.4 percent in 2010.
