JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert practiced in full for the third consecutive day Friday and will start at Indianapolis.
Cornerback Derek Cox (hamstring) also is expected to start after missing the first two games. Both are listed as probable.
Gabbert injured his buttocks in last week’s loss against Houston. Coach Mike Mularkey says Gabbert didn’t miss a snap in practice and had a “good week.” Cox’s return should help solidify the secondary.
The Jaguars could be without two starting offensive linemen for the second straight week, though. Guard Eben Britton (ankle) was ruled out, and right tackle Cam Bradfield (ankle) is questionable.
Linebacker Daryl Smith (groin) and defensive end George Selvie (knee) also are out. Running back Rashad Jennings (knee) is doubtful. Defensive end Austen Lane (foot) is questionable.
