SINGAPORE (AP) — Races in Singapore, Germany, and South Korea plus the new grand prix in New Jersey have been included on a provisional calendar for the 2013 Formula One season.
The provisional venues and dates were circulated to teams at the Singapore Grand Prix, seeking feedback ahead of official confirmation.
Singapore’s contract expires this year, with an announcement Saturday on whether it will continue next season. South Korea and Germany’s race at the financially troubled Nurburgring are subject to contract negotiations, while the New Jersey race was given a mid-June date.
Like this year, the season will start in Australia in March and finish in Brazil in November. The only race dropping out is Valencia, which starting next season will alternate with Barcelona as host of the Spanish GP.
