Arizona 3B Johnson exits after being hit by pitch

DENVER (AP) — Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Chris Johnson has left Sunday’s game after getting hit by a pitch.

Johnson was batting in the top of the second when a pitch from Colorado starter Jeff Francis came up and in on him. An Arizona trainer checked Johnson’s left hand and wrist.

Johnson is hitting .284 with 15 home runs and 75 RBIs.
