Ridgefield — Second Step Housing, a nonprofit agency that works on behalf of homeless women and children, got a $40,000 donation from CAMEO, a group of women who raise funds each year in honor of the late Cathy Anna Mayer, who died of breast cancer.

On July 12, women from throughout the community shopped, bought raffle tickets, enjoyed makeovers, sipped wine and more, all at the East Fork Cellars winery and all to benefit CAMEO 2012 — which had selected Second Step as its beneficiary. To learn more about CAMEO, visit encouragingothers.com.
