Lacamas Community Credit Union will host a grand re-opening event following the remodel of its 192nd Avenue Branch in Camas.

The event will be held Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 9:30 a.m., at the branch located at 19200 S.E. 31st St. It will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, branch tours, XBOX competitions, as well as opportunities to meet credit union staff. A continental breakfast will also be served.

The remodel coincides with expansion of the credit union’s 24/7 service access, including mobile banking, remote deposit capture, ATM upgrades, live chat and other electronic services.

Opened in 2002, the branch’s interior space has been re-configured to create a new space for members to interact with technology, staff and each other.

Lacamas Community Credit Union was the first credit union established in Southwest Washington, chartered in 1936. It serves its 17,000 members through six branch locations in Clark and Skamania counties as well as online banking.
