ASHBURN, Va. (AP) — The Washington Redskins have signed cornerback David Jones and waived-injured cornerback Crezdon Butler.
Jones spent training camp with the Redskins, but was cut at the end of preseason. He previously played three seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals and two with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Butler injured a hamstring in Sunday’s 38-31 loss to the Bengals. He had played in two games since the Redskins claimed him off waivers on Sept. 1.
The Redskins on Tuesday also signed defensive lineman Chigbo Anunoby to the practice squad and released defensive lineman Delvin Johnson from the practice squad.
