NEW YORK (AP) — Gee Linz, a perfect 2 for 2 in her brief career, beat Chifa by 2 1/2 lengths Wednesday in the $51,940 feature for 2-year-old fillies at Belmont Park.

Roman Dominguez, aboard for both starts, let Gee Linz settle in third before launching a four-wide entering the stretch. Gee Linz pulled clear in the final stages, running six furlongs in 1:12.86 for trainer David Jacobson.

Gee Linz paid $6.70, $4.40 and $2.10 as the 2-1 second choice. Chifa returned $7.50 and $3, and Heidi’s Holiday, the 4-5 favorite, paid $2.10 to show.
