PITTSBURGH (AP) — Looks like Louisville has some company atop the Big East in Rutgers and Cincinnati.

After that, however, it’s a long way down.

The 19th-ranked Cardinals were the clear preseason pick to win their first Big East title since 2006 and have looked solid during a 4-0 start. They’re not the only 4-0 team in the conference, however.

Rutgers moved to 4-0 for the first time in six years after winning in Arkansas on Saturday and has crept back into the rankings. Cincinnati is also unbeaten, though the Bearcats face a tough test against Virginia Tech this weekend.

The rest of the conference is a jumbled mess. South Florida, Syracuse and Connecticut all lost nonconference games on the road last weekend and Pitt is just 2-2, with one of its losses coming against a Football Championship Subdivision school in Youngstown State.
